The Boy Who Saved The Proms

A one hour version of Doctor Who at the Proms 2010 broadcast yesterday on BBC Three. Included in the show was a specially recorded/acted scene for the event, see it in the player below. You can see the special scene Music of the Spheres, starring David Tennant, recorded for the 2008 Proms HERE. A 90 minute version of this year's show will air on BBC Three, Friday 10th at 7pm.

And you can see me in the audience at 1:02 during the video (upside-down and in reverse mind - blue t-shirt with "Trust Me...I'm the Doctor" showing on front).

Although they showed Saturday's performance, I went to the Sunday one, so they have obviously used audience shots from both Sat & Sun.

Can't wait to see Friday's extended version mind. Absolutely wonderful!

How sweet was that? It just goes to show who (no pun intended) the series is actually for.

If anyone who would like to see "Music of the Spheres" with the audience and hasn't, it can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ju6fvkKlCn8

While the straight film version of "Music of the Spheres" is fun, it's like listening to half a conversation. :D
