"The Waters of Mars" wins a Hugo


The 2010 Hugo Awards took place earlier today at AussieCon4 in Melbourne and Doctor Who came away with a win. The Waters Of Mars took first place in the Best Dramatic Presentation, Short Form category which was presented by writer Paul Cornell (whose Human Nature was nominated for the same award in 2008). Other nominees in the same category included The Next Doctor and Planet of the Dead.
