More information has emerged regarding former Doctor Who showrunner Russell T Davies' new children's show, Aliens Vs Wizards. Co~created with Phil Ford (The Waters Of Mars and various The Sarah Jane Adventures stories), the "lavish multimillion-pound series" will air in the autumn on CBBC. Find below a collection of the info so far:You can read loads more about Aliens Vs Wizards on a new fan~page HERE.26 episodes have been commissioned (the first series includes 12).Writers include: Gareth Roberts (The Lodger, Closing Time, etc... and various The Sarah Jane Adventures stories); Joe Lidster (Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures writer) and Clayton Hickman (former Doctor Who Magazine editor and co-writer of Goodbye, Sarah Jane Smith).
Doctor Who Series 5 costume designer Ray Holman is working on the series.
It will feature lots of prosthetic monsters and not just computer generated imagery.
