Actor David Tennant and actress Billie Piper (who older readers may remember played The Tenth Doctor and Rose, respectively, back in the Noughties) are to attend a Doctor Who convention together later this year. Starfury, who recently organised The 11th Hour convention with Matt Smith, (Blogtor's review HERE) have announced the pair will appear at their event Midnight, taking place at the Birmingham Hilton Metropole, December 14-16, 2012.
Other guests confirmed are Eve Myles (Gwyneth in The Unquiet Dead and Torchwood's Gwen Cooper), Barnaby Edwards (Dalek Operator), Gareth David Lloyd (Torchwood's Ianto), Gary Russell (Who author and script editor), Phil Ford (writer of The Waters of Mars, The Sarah Jane Adventures), Tony Lee (writer) and Jim Swallow (writer). Blogtor will also be in attendance on various panels.

Oh, best Doctor and Rose! It's amazingly!!!
I SO wish I could go to this.
It's also weird thinking there are kids watching Doctor Who nowadays for whom Matt Smith's Doctor has been around FOREVER. Why must they make me feel old? I'm only 18!
In 50 years I'll be saying from my head-in-a-jar, "I remember when the Ninth Doctor grabbed Rose Tyler's hand for the first time."
All the same, I hope somebody at this event films the Tennant & Piper panel, then of course whacks it on YouTube :)
