BFI celebrate 50th throughout 2013

The BFI Southbank is to screen classic Doctor Who stories each month in 2013, leading up to the show's 50th Anniversary in November. Each screening will focus on a particular Doctor and feature guests pertinent to the era with an introduction and a Q&A panel session after.

The first event, The First Doctor: An Unearthly Child, takes place on January 12 and it's a screening of the William Hartnell debut tale - tickets available to the public from Dec 11. Guests to be announced.

Visit the BFI site HERE for more details and tickets.

I had this plan myself the other day! Works out well: 11 Doctors, 11 months until the anniversary. Perfect!
