The William Hartnell story is the very first to feature the Cybermen and also the first to feature the regeneration process.
The Tenth Planet was recently released as part of the
Regeneration DVD boxset (see review
HERE) and the four-part story will receive a release on its own, packed with brilliant extras and an animated episode in November.
