Faced with the prospect of the TARDIS exploding, leading to total event collapse, the Doctor's greatest enemies – including Daleks, Cybermen, Sontarans, and the Nestene Consciousness - trapped Matt Smith's Eleventh incarnation of the Time Lord in the Pandorica. Van Gogh painted this incredible design as a warning to his good friend: that the universe has cracked and that they were all in terrible danger.
