Today the script read-through took place for the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special. Pictured above are current and former Doctor Whos, Matt Smith and David Tennant - click on the image for a bigger version. The BBC have stated that the sixty minute 3D episode features, "many more familiar faces" - it also stars former and current companions Billie Piper and Jenna-Louise Coleman along with screen legend, John Hurt (Alien).
ETA: Another picture has been released (see above) featuring actress Joanna Page (Gavin & Stacey) with David, Jenna and Matt. The story is written by Steven Moffat and directed by Nick Hurran (Asylum of the Daleks, amongst others) and will receive a limited worldwide cinema release.
